Social Media & Content Specialist
We are seeking a talented Social Media and Content Specialist to join our marketing team. This position is responsible for managing our social media communities, cultivating influencer relationships, generating engaging content, and ensuring that all creative materials are aligned with our brand's voice and aesthetic. You will work closely with the marketing team to create a cohesive online presence that resonates with our target audience and drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:

Community Management:

With Brand Marketing team, develop, implement and manage social media strategies to build and grow engaged communities and increase brand awareness, love, and loyalty.

Act as the brand's voice across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.), engaging with followers and partners, responding to inquiries, and fostering a positive, active community.

Build relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates, encouraging active participation and user-generated content.

Content Creation & Strategy:

Develop and oversee Commando’s (WC) Social Media Calendar and posting strategy that aligns with brand initiatives, product launches, campaigns, and seasonal trends.

Manage posting for CommandoKerry (CK), working closely with Brand Creative Team and CEO to align on messaging.

Manage the scheduling of posts across all WC and CK social media platforms.

Create and curate on-brand, original content, including social media posts, images, videos, stories, and other multimedia content.

Support brand copy and content creation across channels, including brand website, emails, and social channels.

Creator Relations & Partnerships:

Build and maintain relationships with influencers / creators to drive brand awareness and engagement, working with agency partner when applicable.

Manage campaigns, budget, and track performance to measure ROI.

Monitor social channels for trends, conversations, and mentions, responding promptly and appropriately to comments and inquiries.

Identify and follow like-minded and aspirational brands and develop those relationships.

Brand Consistency:

Ensure all social media content and digital marketing are consistent with brand guidelines and voice.

Monitor and review all brand assets for quality control, ensuring that messaging, imagery, and design are on-brand and reflect the company's values and mission.

Analytics & Reporting:

Track social media metrics and performance to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

Provide regular reports on engagement, growth, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

Collaborate with Marketing Team:

Work closely with the Marketing Manager and the rest of the team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies, product launches, and events.

Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, including both online and offline initiatives.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, and/or digital marketing, preferably in the fashion or lifestyle industry. -
Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).

Proven experience in influencer marketing and community engagement.

Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.

Strong creative skills with the ability to generate original ideas and content.

Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.).

Experience with influencer management platforms.

A strong eye for design and aesthetic, with an understanding of how to maintain brand consistency.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for fashion and trends.
Preferred Skills:

Photography/videography skills.

Experience with paid social media advertising.

Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.

Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
